I try to never steer a person in one direction when I try to help them. I am not steering anyone else to use the program, only offering options they may consider.
You are welcome to your opinions, but I will have to disagree with your statements regarding wowmatrix. In TukUI and ElvUI's cases, the authors decided to stop uploading to Curse, and wanted the direct ad revenue of their own site instead. Since you asked, the reason why ElvUI (or any AddOn) is or is not on Curse or Wowinterface is 100% up to the author.
You can download the zip file from the site manually if you wish.
They have a good client as well, but you have to sign up for free in order to download the client. About ElvUI ElvUI is a full user interface replacement for World of Warcraft, which means it completely replaces the Blizzard default UI.
ElvUI can only be downloaded from TukUI's site, linked above. Download Tukui client for Windows and install it. If you want clean updating programs, you need either the Curse Client or Wowinterface's Minion. We authors almost universally despise Wowmatix, and at one point were forced to take legal action. On top of that, I don't know any AddOn authors that will provide support to AddOns installed by Wowmatrix. Any AddOns that are All Rights Reserved or other copyright they don't have. Also, their database of AddOns is limited by legally-defined AddOns as being part of the public realm, ie: open source, public domain, etc. Stack: Interface\AddOns\Cyui\modules\unitframes\layout.Wowmatrix is a great way to get hacked, install viruses, and other things you probably don't want on your computer.
